The AT&T DOT (Do One Thing) Program represents another example of Citizen’s work driving broad employee engagement. DOT is a voluntary, company-wide effort that inspires employees to commit to regular, measurable actions (DOTs) that are good for themselves, their communities, and their company. DOT personalizes sustainability by transforming it into simple everyday actions – from reducing paper use and cooking healthier meals, to mentoring students, community volunteering, and sparking corporate innovation.
Citizen helped develop the original DOT video series that guides employees through an engaging, interactive orientation, as well as designing the DOT web platform that features functionality such as the DOT Impact Calculator. Since launching in 2011, more than 35,800 employees in 33 countries have voluntarily chosen and tracked more than 62,000 DOTs on the DOT Spot Impact website. Additionally, employees have formed more than 1,260 DOT teams to create larger impacts by sharing and socializing similar passions.
