SOS (Save Our Species) is a unique project sponsored by IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature) and World Bank as a global response to the challenge of species loss. A large fraction of all creatures that make up our living world are disappearing at a frightening rate. Among well-studied groups, at least 1 in 4 mammals, 1 in 8 birds, 1 in 3 amphibians, and 1 in 3 corals are currently under threat of extinction. That's nearly one-third of the Earth's species that may not reach 2050 unless widespread conservation actions are undertaken now.
The ambition of SOS is to bring together human energy, financial capital, and public/private sector collaboration on a scale to commiserate with the crisis. Citizen helped brand the new initiative and develop its initial website, brand story, and collateral material to launch the effort. A strong communication and marketing campaign will be developed and promoted as part of its second phase.
